Router ModelNetgear Nighthawk X10
Firmware VersionDD-WRT v3.0-r44809 std (11/15/20)

I am looking for guidance on how to configure my network. Im getting a little confused with the bridges and VLAN's.

I want 3 networks.

1) Private
2) Public
3) IoT

There should be no crosstalk possible between the different networks, only talking to device on the same network or the gateway.

I have already created VAP's for each.

What do i do to properly seperate these networks? Specifically regarding the bridges and VLAN's? I got the additional DHCP servers understood.

either use iptables to ensure that the different network traffic is not connected or unbridge the networks.

So do i need to creat 4 VLANS? 1 for the WAN, 3 for the networks, and then add iptables to resitrct them all?

I dont have to create any bridges? Im lacking the knowledge a little bit here.

VLAN is only for wired ports.

Bridges is needed if you want both 5Ghz and 2.4Ghz on the same network.

suggest you read this article:

http://www.alexlaird.com/2013/03/dd-wrt-guest-wireless/

and then do a similar procedure to build each network.
