Resetting (changing) a computer's static IP address

Yes, I noticed Step 17:

17. Reset your computer Ethernet connection to auto IP and auto DNS.

I didn't interpret this as saying that the static IP address should be changed back to its initial one.

Thanks for the clarification. I think I'm ready to try the proc.
