Apparently you don't read the new-build thread for a build before flashing it. That's a good way to end up with a brick. For many people, 44772 loses all settings on a reboot. Try the next one, 44809, but first look over its new-build thread https://forum.dd-wrt.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=327180 to see if other WRT3200ACM owners are having issues with it that would concern you! _________________ 2x Netgear XR500 and 3x Linksys WRT1900ACSv2 on 53544: VLANs, VAPs, NAS, station mode, OpenVPN client (AirVPN), wireguard server (AirVPN port forward) and clients (AzireVPN, AirVPN, private), 3 DNSCrypt providers via VPN.
Thanks for the info.
As a newbie with limited computer skills, I cannot find 44809. I went to the router database, but I do not see the version I need. Any link please ?

Check your VPN setting to confirm they have not been lost. If so, reenter settings or revert to last release that you have a backup file for, restore the backup and update directly to r44809.
If setting are good one last thing you could try before serious troubleshooting is to reboot both the router and modem for a renegotiation. Especially if you updated from Linksys firmware to DD-WRT firmware.
Since you have a 3200 look at the stickies at top of forum for the best release to run on that router. I would suggest running the firmware recommended by other 3200 users rather than the latest release.

I am by no means an expert on this but I do have a suggestion.
Earlier today I installed r44809 on my two 3200's which went totally nuts. At first I was getting intermittent problems with internet. When I checked my WDS Station 3200 it couldn't even get an internet connection. Since I wasn't in the mood to do major testing to find the cause I simply switched partitions to r44048 which has been a very stable build for some time. Unfortunately once switched I couldn't access the gui on either 3200. I could telnet in and lan connections on both routers was there but no WDS WiFi. I spent the next hour fighting with both routers but got no where.
In the end I simply reset (10 sec on reset button) and reloaded backups which I had taken before starting the process. In the case of my WDS Station 3200 when it came up it was on r44809 so I simply reloaded r44048 and restored from it's backup.
Both 3200's have been running without problem for the past 8 hours. Fortunately I didn't create any permanent damage.Just to be safe from accidental partition switch I loaded r44048 on both partitions.
May not be your problem but if I were you I would try with r44048 first. If all works properly you could try to upgrade, but keep a backup just in case you end up with the same disaster as I did. _________________ Starlink & DSL -> TPLink TL-R470T+
