I had some problems getting my WRT3200ACM to work and loaded an earlier version of DD-wrt. It's working just fine now but I can't upgrade the firmware anymore. I start the upgrade, then the clock starts counting down, then I get a failed message. I have to power cycle the router to get the GUI to come back up. I'm not sure how to fix this.
After successful flash and reboot, consider one of three reset methods: hardware reset, web GUI restore factory defaults from administration -> factory defaults, or "nvram erase & reboot" from Telnet as root. Then, reconfigure manually from scratch.

write ddwrt-linksys-wrt3200acm-webflash.bin linux _________________ Dynalink DL-WRX36 on 58753, Linksys MR7350 and MX4200v2 on 59171, Netgear XR500 and 3x Linksys WRT1900ACSv2 on 57200: VLANs, VAPs, NAS, station mode, OpenVPN client (AirVPN), wireguard server (AirVPN port forward) and clients (AzireVPN, AirVPN, private), 3 DNSCrypt providers via VPN.
Do not attempt to flash r44772; wait for the next build. Do not use Chrome or Chromium-based to upgrade.
Never reset during an upgrade (always keep the dropdown option selected "Don't reset" to avoid issues).
You may want to try r44048 and if it fails then r36527 has a problem with web GUI upgrade...
That was super helpful. I just downloaded the latest firefox and did the upgrade and it worked like a charm. I'm hopeful everything will be working okay.
