I have a primary router (with vpn passthrough), a linksys WRT3200ACM, and a QNAP TS-251+. I want to run an ethernet cable from my primary router to the Linksys and use the Linksys as a vpn client/server to access the QNAP ftp/cloud. I also have a vpn service (PIA).
I followed the guide on PIA and almost got the vpn client to work on the Linksys. After digging around on the internet someone mentioned clicking NAT checkmark on the Linksys vpn client page and it started working. Others said it should not have to be checked.
After reading around some more I read that in order to access my ftp/cloud I need to establish a vpn server and set up some port forwarding, or it may have been IP.
The linksys has DD-WRT v3.0-r44715 and the tp-link is stock.
I was hoping maybe I could send someone screenshots of my current settings and they could send me screenshots (and code to copy/paste if needed) of what needs to be.

You have posted in the wrong forum. This forun is for buing/selling hardware. The WRT3200ACM is a Marvell and belongs in the Marvell Forum. The experts on VPN is located in the Advanced Network Forum.
