I have dd-wrt loaded onto linksys 3200 acm.
Router is working but no internet access.
Router use to work properly.
Need to reset router or maybe clone mac to access internet
Password may be changed after reset.
What to reset dd-wrt or router os and how.
Thanks

Web GUI Reset: Administration -> Factory Defaults -> Restore Factory Defaults (Yes, Apply).

Hardware Reset: While powered on after a full boot, hold the reset button for 10 seconds.

CLI Reset: Telnet to router IP as username root and your password. "nvram erase && reboot" no quotes

With any reset, be patient and wait to allow a full reboot.

Press the reset button.
It reboot with a default id=dd-wrt
Log in as 192.168.1.1
As user and password, it will not take mine or root admin or admin admin

When you reset, the dd-wrt GUI comes up and does not ask for you to enter an existing password! It is asking for you to choose a GUI password. The username field will default to "root" to match the ssh username, but you can set it to something else here for the GUI if you like.

And -- this is a guess -- perhaps it will not accept you trying to change the password to "admin" because it is a security risk!

It's asking you to SET the password, to CHOOSE a password. Do NOT try to choose "admin" as your password!

How to check linksys 3200 acm version number firmware ?
Or am I better off starting over with the router instead of taking chances ?

I also want to switch to express vpn since they support wi fi 6. Any suggestion ? Nord support wi fi 6 only on the software app not on the router. But I don't think linksys 3200 acm support wi fi 6
