v24 weird rom sizes

I don't have a bug to report, just an observation with some unexpected (from my point of view) rom size changes.

Assumption: mini-special-generic is the same as mini-generic except "special" has Wi-Fi client-mode features added. Therefore, mini-special-generic roms ought to be slightly bigger than mini-generic ones.

broadcom r41954 - reference sizes - looks normal to me:
dd-wrt.v24_mini_generic.bin 3166208
dd-wrt.v24_mini_special_generic.bin 3350528

broadcom r41986 - weird sizes:
dd-wrt.v24_mini_generic.bin 3403776
dd-wrt.v24_mini_special_generic.bin 3325952

So, between r41954 and r41986, why would mini_generic become larger than mini_special_generic? I wonder if something went wrong starting with r41986 and nobody noticed yet.
