Is there a cheapest decent router for DD-WRT?

At the right times R7500v2 and EA8500 can be found for ~40 USD.

all those xiaomi (dual or four core) routers that costs 40-60$ and is new will it be supported in the future?

for the ax series, it's going to be a while yet...access to open source drivers are still a WIP. IPQ1600 support- dunno.

A lot of their other devices use cheap shit mediatek and that proved to be a disaster on the WRT series...so doubtful support will come.

again, the best bet right now is a R7800 if price is no object or Archer C7v5/A7v5 for budget.
