Downloads: (DD-WRT website) HTTPS & FTP (try another if a link doesn't work)

CLI Flash: 'cd /tmp' then 'wget {file URL}' (or 'curl -k {file URL} -o {file}') with http (not https) or ftp. Then 'write {file} linux'.

Repository: Trac SVN changelog since last build r44406 (GitHub mirror)

Notes:
• CVE-2019-14899 VPN fix (applicability depends on VPN setup) and GUI toggle. 6920, 6928, 6931, 6932 (WIP 7040)
In-kernel Samba has been implemented this year and default min/max versions have changed 6954, 6957, with WSD support.
• VAP issue is fixed! For any Wireless Mode, create a VAP and both ath0/ath1 should now function properly.
• Local DNS option removed from Services->DNSMasq in changesets 43080 and 43081; ref: #7092
• DHCP and DNS help (English) updated in 43083; ref: #7091
• WireGuard 1.0.20200908 & Tools: PBR, Kill Switch, Inbound Firewall, Naming of Peers, Status, Key, Guides. Thanks BS & egc!

Issues:
• There may be remaining issues for Samba (for example NTFS), with frequent updates.

Important:
• If reporting issues provide applicable info: 'dmesg', 'cat /tmp/var/log/messages', syslog, serial output, strace, tcpdump etc.
• For firewall NAT or WAN issues provide 'iptables -vnL', 'iptables -t nat -vnL', 'iptables -t mangle -vnL' and the /tmp/.ipt file.
• Search existing SVN tickets before opening a new one. Before reporting, reset and manually setup (no nvram backup).
• Be sure to include operating and wireless modes (Gateway, AP, CB, etc.) along with relevant configuration information.

Example Template:
Code:
[b]Router/Version: [/b]
[b]File/Kernel: [/b]
[b]Previous/Reset: [/b]
[b]Mode/Status: [/b]

httpd process will not stay running on WRT54Gv5 broadcom/dd-wrt.v24_micro_generic.bin.

GUI transition from saving/applying/rebooting not smooth nor seamless in 44467. Seems to pass traffic, fine, though.

GUI upgrade from 44406 was not smooth, required multiple 30/30/30 resets. 44406 is a better micro build.

There is a new option in Wireles_Basic.asp tab, "Disable LDPC (ESP8266 Workaround)", does anybody know what it does? It appeared first in r44406.

yes it disables LDPC and is a workaround for ESP8266 devices

ESP8266 is a 2.4ghz chip

and as far as I know, only the marvel routers have problems with ESP devices

So it does exactly what it says in the description

if you want to know what LDPC is, google says it is a parity check
and ESP's are low power IoT chips

Router ModelNetgear R7800
Firmware Version DD-WRT v3.0-r44467 std (09/24/20)
Kernel VersionLinux 4.9.236 #688 SMP Thu Sep 24 01:05:05 +03 2020 armv7l

Services: WDS AP, DNS Crypt, DNSoMatic, DHCP, Wan Gateway, QOS (HTB+Pie), SMB.

Previous version 44112, no erase

Uptime 1 hr.

Most features working correctly. Having issues with SMB

Specifically related to a min version set of 2.x. I need to set this version so my non windows machines and plugins for my phone can access the nas. However, leaving the version of 2.10 as min results in Out of Bounds errors on win10 while attempting to access AND the daemon does not seem to be broadcasting the name. however my non windows boxes can access the share just fine.

Setting the min version to 3.00 resolves all the windows issues but now my non windows systems are being asked for creds and none work.

this was working fine 44112. the only new feature i enabled was to "ignore Wan DNS"

Router/Version: La Fonera 2100
File/Kernel: linux.bin, flashed using FonFlash
Previous/Reset: r44251, without reset
Mode/Status: Client with virtual AP
Issues/Errors: Wifi does NOT work, like r44340. Then flashed r44406 without success either. Revert back to r44251 and everything works (except slowly bootup and multiple OOM in syslog). Suspect something changed the compatibility between r44251 and r44340.

Sample bootlog from r44406; r44340 has similar output (I forgot to make a copy of the syslog of r44467 before reverting):

Thanks for pointing me to the right thread. The Broadcom thread did not show up when searching for 44467.

EA8500 r44467 uptime 1 day 3:14
thought some funny business been going on with unbound
few current active clients and would NOT resolve sites I thought it should
checked active IP connections in webif and it showed over 3000 ...that is bullshit
disabled unbound so she is now using only my trusty ol OpenNIC DNS
active IP connections quickly went to 273 which is 'bout normal
all sites & pages resolve very good now

Mr. BS, you need to see WTH happened to unbound on last several builds. Twisted Evil
