Hi guys,

i am looking for a stable version for the TP Link Archer C9v1. I just flashed DD WRT yesterday, but couldn't find a stable version.
I tried the newest beta version, but my wifi and even ethernet connection drops every some seconds or minutes.
Currently I am using the version DD-WRT v3.0-r41586, the problem still exists, but significantly less noticeable. But the ping is unstable:

64 bytes from 8.8.8.8: icmp_seq=70 ttl=115 time=18.500 ms
64 bytes from 8.8.8.8: icmp_seq=71 ttl=115 time=168.649 ms
64 bytes from 8.8.8.8: icmp_seq=72 ttl=115 time=23.808 ms

Do you know a stable version for this device? I only need port forwarding and guest wifi feature. Maybe adblocker in the future.

Best,

Use google to find "new build" "archer c9" and see what people are saying for a build that was within the last month. Maybe reply to those users who have an archer c9, quoting their blurb on the build if they are still using it and if it still works... that is what I would do to get a better answer..

Been running DD-WRT v3.0-r33772 std (11/16/17) since it came out. Been stable all this time.

Not sure if I will upgrade it...

For the past months, I've been updating my archer C9v1 to the latest betas as they come out and have not had any issues.

Latest (44340) has been up for a week now.

I'm running Archer C9 V1 with r44340. Everything seems to work including PPTP server (which was broken in r42729). I do have internet connection issues both wifi and hardwire when running 44340 without "Use DNSMasq for DNS" being checked; once checked the build seems stable. Thanks dwardo for the initial 44340 comments
