Client, Client bridge, and repeater modes work for me on my Asus RT-AC68U.. It has an armv7 processor. _________________ ASUS RT-AC68U (R/AP) Merlin 384.19

Bueller? It is my understanding the (fake) bridge modes worked with certain older broadcom chips and drivers, before bcmdhd.
There was mention at one point in time a consideration to remove these bridge modes completely.
If your router has working WDS, use that instead as it's a true solution. Here's an excerpt from the build thread word salad.
• WDS does not work on Broadcom ARM devices(only MIPS<->MIPS) & bridge modes on k4.4 devices may sometimes work in some configurations in certain builds but are not supported by the bcmdhd driver. Use client or repeater instead.
ok so no wds on arm, so use client or repeater? I will give that a shot.
I configured R7000 running build 44112 as a client bridge on wl0 and AP on wl1, seems ok, not perfect but does the job. Roaming is not good if same ssid is used so my advise is to use a different ssid, try both and see what works for you.

As explained on the tomato forums it has explained before, I guess I just can't find the correct search terms. _________________ Peacock Thread-FAQ -- dd-wrt Wiki
