Just did update to r44213 std. Update was successful without reset. Lost internet connection on all my devices though. Any idea where should I even try looking for solutions?

If you are behind a modem, reboot that first than reboot the R7800 then reboot your clients.

That is a case. And my tracert to google.com fails on my router-modem connection. I'll give it a try and report back.

What build / version was running successful before ?

You are using PPPoE and modem ? Name and IP ping is unsuccessful ?

egc is lightning fast reading and answering , so sorry for duplicate questions. Very Happy

I did reset to factory. Internet connection is back. Is it safe for me to try load my backed up settings from last build or do I have to set up everything again manually?

I would go manually after a reset.

It essentially depends on:

1) if the backup is from the same model router
2) if the backup is from the same build revision
3) if the backup data is not corrupt

Outside of that, it's usually not advisable to restore from an nvram backup, although I've had no issues doing it.
