Not sure if it's like others and would be 52 bytes or not. Really wish I knew why U-boot was so finicky on these TP-Link devices. Should be able to just flash the dang thing via TFTP. Is there not an older firmware image without 'boot' in the filename?

Ok, either TP-link's sites are lying to me, or you do not have an EU v6 of that device. Are you sure it's not an 941 (940v3)?

Not lying to you, just tricking you. I'm in europe and tplink site are redirecting me to the euro site/search engine.
I already observed this behaviour if I use a vpn from USA Surprised
2 connections, 2 dif results from tplink site.

And I can confirm:

Code:

Product Overview

        TL-WR940N_V6_Datasheet

Documentos

        SOHO Router(EU1-12Languages)_Quick Installation Guide

Link the (EU) downloads page. I can't seem to manage finding the specific one you're pulling up. The only site that lists the v6 and firmware images is all (US).

Still a miracle to me, that this board is working with some main capacitors removed from power supply:

https://deviwiki.com/wiki/TP-LINK_TL-WR940N_v6.x

The Wr940N_V3 has all capacitors on power supply.

I've been curious if it would be of no consequence to add those missing caps. Seems like this is a normal TP-Link feature.
