i have the same problem typing/posting here...its normal, but yep it sucks...a lot of web sites don't like VPN & Tor...
User IP is detected as Spambot!

Yes, it is my first use of a VPN.
I guess I didn't think it was normal behavior. Mostly because it didn't seem to be happening when I first set it up but as an after affect some months down the road.
It also seems that if I make a new interface and peer then the newly created tunnel doesn't seem to suffer from the blockage, at first.
