Anyone know how to change country code? He mentioned "set the nvram variable" but which variable? I tried wl(0,1)_regdomain and it changed nothing.

EDIT: PMed the dev, ‘region’ is the variable I need to set.

Just figured I should share a simple one liner (mostly) I've written to control the USB LEDs automatically, based on which port is used:
Code:
gpio enable 13
gpio enable 14
sh -c "while true; do [ -d /sys/bus/usb/devices/1-2 ] && gpio disable 13 || gpio enable 13; ([ -d /sys/bus/usb/devices/1-1 ] || [ -d /sys/bus/usb/devices/2-1 ]) && gpio disable 14 || gpio enable 14; sleep 1; done" &

Put this in startup script, reboot and profit. Works for DIR-882 with broly or official builds.

For those who have struggled with Broly's build who use PPPOE,it is now working.

Can I install this firmware if I'm using the standard DD-WRT build or should I use the recovery page to flash this?

Yes,you can install this build from the update menu of the standard DD-WRT.
I have done this and I'm very pleased.
The WiFi speeds are excellent in 5GHz and the WiFi LEDs are working.
I am using a DIR-882 and the latest Broly version.

I'll give it a try to broly's build. I'm having a few issues with standard DD-WRT (build 43718)

WiFi connection stops working after a while, need to turn off and on the WiFi in the device to get it working again.

Not the best 5GHz WiFi speeds, I was able to get 350/350 Mbps using 5GHz and D-Link 1.30 firmware. Now I'm getting 200/240 Mbps.

Hi,
I got over 400Mbps at 5Ghz. The PC is 6 meters (20 feet) from the router with 3 brick walls.
I tested with Broly's 43652.

Thanks for your build broly, it is working very good after some tweaking!

I just tested the current version (kernel 4.14.188 and DD-WRT v43813), 2.4GHz was broken and after I changed the default router IP to 192.168.0.1 I couldn't set the DHCPv4 range using the GUI (Setup > Basic Setup).

I had to set the DHCPv4 range is dnsmasq additional config.

I installed the older version (kernel 4.14.187 and DD-WRT v43652) and it is working much better.

I found in Services > dnsmasq an "undefined" option, is that a blank button or an actual option with missing name?

Noticed also the broken 2.4GHz and swiutched back to 43652.

Hi guys,

I use this in wired bridge mode connected to my ISP modem/router (only way I can sync/get 1000/500 mbps advertised speeds).

Its all fine until the DIR882 (running latest Broly build) decided to turn on DHCP without me doing anything and internet stops working until I manually go in and disable it. It happens every few days but irregularly.

Any tips or solutions? QoS and firewall are off and I followed the guide off the main dd-wrt page.

Indeed 43813 has broken 2.4G. The ra0 interface has all zero hwaddr. I also noticed that VHT160 is gone from 5G channel width selection.

Update: 44006 fixed the above problem (and the "undefined" option in DNSMASQ options is gone). I've had it running stable for about a day. Thanks Broly Smile

Hi, I'm currently on Firmware 44218 but the router does not recognize any USB flash drive or HDD connected to any of the 2 USB ports on the router. I've flashed to DD-WRT firmware 44218 directly from D-Link factory firmware but cannot get the USB to work. Core USB and Storage Support is enabled from the WEB-UI. Can anyone help? Or maybe point me to a different firmware that has USB working?

Hello all,

I just tested this firmware and found it works smoothly.

But I cannot find anywhere setting up MIMO, and the antenna option has only "left", "right" and "auto". Cannot I use all 4 antennas at the same time?

From wireless status of my macbook I can only see 8xx Mbps link, never reach 1300Mbps. I set wl1 to AC Only.

Is there anything I missed?
