Hi everyone, first time poster. I just want to ask some questions before jumping into anything so I'm clear on the best way to proceed.

My existing home network is using an ASUS RT-AC5300. I want to set up a 2nd network behind the AC5300 using an ASUS RT-AC3200 that I've bought for that purpose and this will be a dedicated VPN. Then devices in the house can be WiFi switched between each network as needed.

I changed the RT-AC3200 firmware to Asuswrt-merlin before I realized my VPN provider didnt cater to it but they do for DD-WRT so I'm wanting to replace the firmware with DD-WRT.

I've searched the forum here but I'm still not 100% sure which version of DD-WRT I should be using with the ASUS RT-AC3200 as I read (from memory last week) in a thread that the Wiki listed builds might not be up to date...

Reading through the Peacock thread it referances to use the Wiki though so I'm after clarification if its ok to use the build in the Wiki https://wiki.dd-wrt.com/wiki/index.php/Supported_Devices#Asus

This will only be run as a WiFi VPN network so I'm looking for stability with that if that helps in any way.
