I have not tried r43324 as yet.
Problems occur with 1900 V1 and 1200 V1 where when the 2.4ghz is active on a WDS Station unit it has difficulty with initial connection and eventually will lockout completely with "deauthenticated due to local deauth request "
I first encountered the problem r43306 after upgrading all the routers where my 1900 V1 WDS station with multile devices on the 2.4Ghz had difficulty connecting. Once connected it seemed alright for quite some time, then suddenly got disconnected on the 5Ghz. I was not having any problems with the other 1900 V1 WDS Station (No 2.4Ghz) or with my 3200 WDS Station with 2.4Ghz and a vap on the 5Ghz.
Upon checking the disconnected unit via 2.4Ghz it was still functioning with all devices, just would not connect to the 5Ghz WDS Network. A reboot got a connection back for a short time then subsequently disconnected again. Thinking it might be a faulty router I setup my spare completely fresh with r43320. It had difficulty connecting and would ultimately disconnect from the 5Ghz completely. If I disabled the 2.4Ghz the routers would connect to the WDS network without problem.
I then tried my spare 1200 V1 with r43320 and got the same results. I downgraded my 3200 Master to r43290, no change.
Eventually I restored the 1900 V1 WDS Station to r43290 and it connected immediately and remained connected now for > 8 hrs. without any problems whatsoever. It appears that something was changed in r43306 which is incompatible with the older 1900 V1's and 1200 V1's in a WDS Station mode and using 2.4Ghz.
**** UPDATE *****
Ran with the revised config for 5+ days without incident. Re-activated the 2.4Ghz on my 3200 Master (G-Only wmm disabled) and within minutes the 1900 WDS Station Deauthorized.
I upgraded to r43334 on all units, disabled the 2.4Ghz on the Master and all is running well.
23+ hours running and my 1900 WDS Station deauthorized. Had to reboot unit to re-establish connection. Also set the "WDS Watchdog to this Router" and on the 1900 changed 2.4Ghz Mode to "N-Only". If it continues I will drop back to r43290 as it seemed to be good. _________________ Starlink & DSL -> TPLink TL-R470T+

Completely lost connection with the 1900 WDS Station (Deauth due to local).
Tried rebooting both master and remote, no go. Replaced remote with spare on r43290, still no go.
Eventually downgraded remote to r31924 and all is well.
Observations;
1 - The later builds allow full connection without hesitation as long as both routers are in close proximity. As soon as the remote is placed > 200' the deauth occurs.
2 - Disabling the 2.4Ghz on the remote station allows for connection. Re-enabling 2.4Ghz causes deauth's although sometimes not for quite a while 8+ hours.
r31924 does not have this problem.
It almost appears that the two radios cannot operate properly when the range is large. This only appears on builds other than r31924 although I have only noticed the problem on most recent builds.
My other 1900 WDS Station which has a broken 2.4gHz never has any comm problems neither does my 3200 WDS Station however they are a bit closer to the Master. _________________ Starlink & DSL -> TPLink TL-R470T+

Been running the profile noted configuration for 50+ hours without problem.
Question to the gurus;
In the later builds is there a test for "Signal" where if a threshold is met the router will deauthorize?
I ask this as since reverting back to r31924 on my 1900 WDS Station I have had no drops but when I was running any later builds if the Signal jumped to about -80 or so I would encounter a deauthorization. Although I normally have a signal of -75 average, when weather comes in (rain, etc) the signal jumps to -80+.
This doesn't seem to bother r31924. On my other WDS Stations I have never seen a deauthorization with any builds but then again they always have excellent signal as they are closer. _________________ Starlink & DSL -> TPLink TL-R470T+
