It seemed that ksmbd is part of the kernel instead of a separate process. So it's impossible to kill it should it goes haywire.
I tried to rmmod (remove module) ksmbd, but it didn't work.
Is it better NOT to compile ksmbd into the kernel if Samba is to be enabled/disabled via the WEBUI?
And when a kernel module goes haywire, it could cause the kernel to panic and hence reboot???
BTW, where is kworker?
