Hi all

My router is a D-link DIR 882 bought preflashed

my DD-WRT version is DD-WRT v3.0-r36242 std (06/27/18

I can see the GUI at the router's IP Address but I think I have messed up the passwords somehow and I can't get into it to change anything or reset to defaults

I have tried a 30 second reset with power on but this did nothing I think the reset Button is turned off.

Is it safe to do the 30/30/30 reset with this particular combination or is there another way of resetting it ? I do not want to brick a fairly expensive router

Best Regards Mark

Thank you for this

It didn't seem to get me right back to the change password screen but the GUI did accept my changed password so I could reset to defaults via the GUI

And thank you for moving my post to the correct area I'm new to the forum and DD-WRT but learning fast It's very powerful if a little intimidating at first.

Best Regards Mark
