So I have been try to connect the (WD My Cloud) to my router. The My cloud makes you go to a site to set the cloud storage up. But when I go to the site and click on the setup button it won't find the cloud storage connected to the router. Its connected via Cat5 cable. Has any one have experience with this or has done it?

Help please,
Antonio

Unless you have a specific need to access the NAS via the Internet, just access it locally. Only things I found suggested using a static IP/lease for the MyCloud, but I think you would have to know what TCP and UDP ports are being used. Only thing I can think of to try is putting the IP of the MyCloud in your DMZ. I personally would not expose it to the Internet.

Have done all of the above, still no access, might be right just keep it local.
