I have been looking at this router on walmart AX3000 is it going to be better than my WRT32X? It says for streams i dont know what that means and seems like routers go to 12 streams. I have a video security system that only connects to 2.4 and loses connection all the time and the speed is very slow when i am a few feet away.
Shall I even bother with the AC3000 or save up and wait a few months for the better one.
Thank you

The technology is too new. And for Broadcom 802.11ax routers, RMerlin has only ported one or two to AsusWRT last I knew. No other custom firmware that I know of has even begun work on this.

R7800, R9000 or EA8500 are all worth it.

Used condition average worth is 80, 120 or 40 USD.
