Please list router model & revision, operating & wireless mode(s) and exact filename/firmware image flashed.
Notes:
• CVE-2019-14899 VPN fix from December, since then various revisions including recently 7040.
• In-kernel Samba has been implemented this year and default min/max versions have changed, with WSD support.
• VAP issue is fixed! For any Wireless Mode, create a VAP and both ath0/ath1 should now function properly.
• WireGuard 1.0 & tools! New GUI Tunnel options since r42872; now with key management! Setup guides: Client & Server by egc
Issues:
• There may be remaining issues for Samba (for example NTFS), with frequent updates.
Important:
• If reporting issues provide applicable info: syslog output, 'dmesg', 'cat /tmp/var/log/messages', serial output, strace etc.
• For firewall issues provide 'iptables -L', 'iptables -t nat -L' and the /tmp/.ipt file.
• Search existing SVN tickets before opening a new one. Before reporting, reset and manually setup (no nvram backup).
• Be sure to include operating and wireless modes (Gateway, AP, CB, etc.) along with any relevant configuration information.

Previous/Reset: build 43028/no reset; update via GUI
Mode/Status: Up and running for 1 hours, WDS/WiFi, 2.4GHz N/G mixed dynamic, 5Ghz AC/N-mixed VHT80, NAS and USB, QoS: HTB/Cake, IPv4 & IPv6, wireguard.
Status: This build fixed the usb wrong parameter which prevent win10 to access the usb drives. This problem was noted in r43055. Tested partially so far but everything seemed to be working, ipv6, wireguard, nas (freenas and unraid) and usb drives. Thank you BS and team this is an excellent build.
New news: Speedtest with wireguard in this build is only about 50% of the normal internet speed. With build r43028 the speed with wireguard is about 80-90% of my internet speed of 220 Mbps. _________________ Netgear R7800(2), R7500v2(2) WDS, Asus RT-AC68R (2)

Status: Excellent build, as always. Thanks again, BS!
It looks like some of those whose routers got the r43084 build as opposed to the r43078 build are getting only 50% of their prior Wireguard speeds. I reckon that it's got something to do with the last Wireguard updates here: https://svn.dd-wrt.com/changeset/43079 or here: https://svn.dd-wrt.com/changeset/43045 since the two individuals are upgrading from 43028.
Please open a ticket on trac about this issue to see it resolved. Include as much relevant telemetry and logs as you can: https://svn.dd-wrt.com/
I think I'll be holding off from any further updates until the alleged speed degradation issue is either resolved or shown to be coincidental.

If the IPV6 DNS is enabled, IPV4 cannot get the ip address since 33986 (Until 43078).
When the status is no connected with internet, many connections are caused by devices. The build of DD-WRT causes high cpu usage until 100% loading. It causes the routers hang and reboot.

@ironstaff, I checked again on my 2 pcs Win10 pro newest developer version 2004 (build 1904.208) and verified that wireguard speed did decrease by about 50% from r43028 to r43084 on wired connection. Submitted a ticket 7096 with syslog. Your wireguard speed was not impacted but you probably ran r43055 previously.
On wifi, wireless speed was about the same, i.e. not that great on either 43028 or 43084. wifi speed is always less than wired gigabit connection. _________________ Netgear R7800(2), R7500v2(2) WDS, Asus RT-AC68R (2)
