[WARNING]: This thread is only for feedback on this beta release for developers and the community's benefit.
DO NOT flash this beta release unless you understand the risks involved and specific device recovery methods.
Avoid discussions! Create threads for questions, general problems or use search; this thread is not for support.
Please list router model & revision, operating & wireless mode(s) and exact filename/firmware image flashed.

Downloads: (DD-WRT website) HTTPS & FTP (If one link doesn't work, try another)

CLI Flash: 'cd /tmp' then 'wget {file URL}' (or 'curl -k {file URL} -o {file}') with http (not https) or ftp. Then 'write {file} linux'.

Repository: Trac SVN changelog since last build r42954 (GitHub mirror)

Notes:
r41664 or later for SFE NAT (k3.2+), KRACK (k24+), PBR+SFE, CAKE & FQ_CODEL_FAST (reset!), GTK Rekey timer fixes.
• Reset button was broken in 40571; fixed in build 40750.
Experimental build option for Broadcom 8MB+ K2.x devices (limited currently): broadcom_K3X_mipsel32r1
• CVE-2019-14899 VPN fix (applicability depends on VPN setup) and GUI toggle: 6920, 6928, 6931, 6932 (WIP: 7040)
In-kernel Samba has been implemented this year and default min/max versions have changed 6954, 6957, with WSD support.
WireGuard 1.0 & tools! New GUI Tunnel options have appeared since r42872, script no longer required! Setup Guide is by egc.
Broadcom MIPS devices are now on the 4.4 kernel (N66U/AC66U trx' are broken atm due to highmem)

Issues, observations, and/or workarounds reported:
DNScrypt 1.95 can still be used in the GUI but v2 (not compatible) requires Golang and thus Entware: 6246
WDS does not work on Broadcom ARM devices (only MIPS<->MIPS) and bridge modes on k4.4 devices may sometimes work in some configurations in certain builds but are not supported by the bcmdhd driver. Use client or repeater instead.
VAPs not working at boot fixed for unbridged VAPs with r40564:40566. Workaround startup command:
sleep 10;stopservice nas;stopservice wlconf;startservice wlconf;startservice nas (there are a few alternatives: search)
If start-up scripts do not work from USB add a delay e.g.: wait script or `sleep 25`

Important:
• If reporting issues provide applicable info: syslog output, 'dmesg', 'cat /var/log/messages', serial output etc.
• For firewall issues provide 'iptables -L', 'iptables -t nat -L' and the /tmp/.ipt file.
• Search existing SVN tickets before opening a new one. Before reporting, reset and manually setup (no nvram backup).
• Be sure to include operating and wireless modes (Gateway, AP, CB, etc.) along with any relevant configuration information.

My R7000P Still shows one channel, 5GHz AC/N mixed, VHT80. how many channels do you see on VHT80 and which region?

Issues/Errors: ProFTPD not working

I have an issue with ProFTPD. Folders are empty. I need to stop the service and enable start the service again via WEBGUI to get my files mounted again. Seems like the service starts before the mount process.

There is a way to automate the stop/enable again ?

Killall -HUP proftpd isn't working.

Thanks

Belkin F7D3302 / F7D7302 v1
r43028 mega (04/29/20)
Linux 4.4.220 #428 Wed Apr 29 18:16:02 +04 2020 mips
Previous: r42954
Reset: Yes (update below)
Mode status: Client Bridge

Decided to be an early tester for k4.x kernel on MIPS, so I expect bugs. Glad that BS has accomplished this arduous undertaking.

Used 64k limit build as the CFE on this router fails when it's over 32K. Standard 128K build should also work but router still unable to use over 32K. It refuses specific build, but it accepts generic build. This has always been a problem for this router and similar Belkin routers.

Errors:
dmesg shows

Code:
random: nas: uninitialized urandom read (16 bytes read, 52 bits of entropy available)
random: nas: uninitialized urandom read (16 bytes read, 52 bits of entropy available)

random: nas: uninitialized urandom read (16 bytes read, 57 bits of entropy available)
random: nas: uninitialized urandom read (16 bytes read, 57 bits of entropy available)
random: nonblocking pool is initialized

Noticed a new entry in partitions.
Code:

cat /proc/mtd
dev:    size   erasesize  name
mtd0: 00030000 00010000 "cfe"
mtd1: 007b0000 00010000 "linux"

mtd4: 00060000 00010000 "ddwrt"
mtd5: 00010000 00010000 "nvram_cfe"

Is this normal? Doesn't seem like it as I have never seen a nvram_cfe partition. dmesg shows:

Code:
Creating 5 MTD partitions on "Physically mapped flash":
0x000000000000-0x000000030000 : "cfe"

I think everything else works, but I think I will do a reset soon though these messages worry me.

Update: I did a reset and still get the same error messages (now more) and partitions.

Code:
random: dnsmasq: uninitialized urandom read (128 bytes read, 23 bits of entropy available)
random: dnsmasq: uninitialized urandom read (48 bytes read, 23 bits of entropy available)

random: nas: uninitialized urandom read (16 bytes read, 54 bits of entropy available)
random: nas: uninitialized urandom read (16 bytes read, 54 bits of entropy available)
random: nonblocking pool is initialized

I don't have a nas setup (no USB storage attached), so why is it mentioned? USB service is disabled.

Well, it works. I may revert back to the previous K3.X build if these messages are something that I should not see.

This build totally not working for Netgear WNR3500L v2. After update fromm build Apr 20, 2020. I use ssh method usally. Flash operation good. I'm wait 30 seconds after finish and send reboot command via putty. After this operation It was only orange power led with working switch. I haven't any access to device. I try hard reset with small button on case. Without any changes. In next step I try force tftp method with reset button press and start device. Without any changes. Tftp can't to connect to my device. Finally I must use USB -> TTL cord and recovery router with serial connection. I'm use build #42954. It's rather stable. The newest build is step to brick the WNR3500L v2. It's some odd situation cause many users have rather good work on build from Apr 29. I don't know what's wrong.
