But i do need to try official build again soon, i got rid of orangepi that i had problems with last time i tried official build, for nanopi + hope they are some changes that will make AC + some smart switch work, that didnt before Smile Just need to be bored enough one day... Smile

The issue is that the iot devices are using very low-cost chips that never get driver updates, and DD-wrt has been reported to have buggy code when it comes to iot devices. Ymmv if you get the r7800, but for sure it will be a major upgrade. Especially if you can score one used on eBay for around $60 to $70.

one other thought, maybe to go to the set up – networking Tab and check multicast to unicast for all of the interfaces and then reboot the router and see what happens.

Can't get Broly's to work with PPPOE, he's having a look into the issue.

Ok, I need some details about your PPPoE configuration, to see what could be culprit. Yeah, might as well hi-jack here, got nuthin' else better to do.

I'm not sure how your DSL modem is assigned to the same subnet as your LAN. Does your WAN get a public IP? Also not entirely sure how your VLAN is configured for the WAN, either. I know some folks have had to set that via a startup script on other devices, not just tag it in the webUI.

The VDSL modem doesn't get a public IP.

The router switched to PPPOE gets the IP address.

I thought they needed to be in the same subnet to communicate?

Ok, got it. I wasn't entirely sure there, thanks for the clarification. So, is it only Broly's builds that PPPoE doesn't work?
