Redboot is installed and I am able to telnet successfully to the redboot> prompt. However, I use the lan port. Not able to telnet using the wan port per procedure. Do I need a crossover cable?
From the redboot prompt, I am unable to install dd-wrt. I get the following error:
Can't locate 88c1e6(8962534) bytes free in FLASH
I tried many different versions of linux.bin. All give the same error. I have tried many searches to find the answer. Would appreciate it, if someone could point me in the right direction.

Moved your post to the proper forum. Even though the wireless chips are Atheros, the CPU is Intel XScale IXP 425. I presume you followed each and every step in the device wiki. There is a note about the WAN port access possibly requiring some reset button voodoo magic... and rev D having port reversal voodoo. Thank you for moving my post. Yes, definitely rev C. The label on the router shows rev C. I also compared it to the pics in the procedure. The small differences I saw all matched the rev C pics.

Ok, I have to ask, did you use the router database / build 40559? If so, the image is likely too big to flash. You may want to give today's release a whirl:
