Hi, also i've a Dlink DIR-825, but rev. b2.

i've recently upgraded it (from a version of 10/2019)
The last relase (Build DD-WRT v.23 04-18-2020-r42925), but it logs some kernel Errors.

Someone knows What's the last v.23 "Stable beta" for this device?

Hallo
42914 works on my DIR-825B2s properly;
42925 briked one of them (didn't upgrade the others based of that experiance), Wildlion says he has no problems with this FW on DIR-825;
42954 didn't test yet on this device.

What "errors" did you have? Mine is running that version (2020_04_18_build_42925) and I am having no problems.

@gargiuseppe
42954 works as well w/o any problems.

@gargiuseppe, @Wildlion
"briked" DIR-825 runs again via Recovery Mode and Win-IExlorer. Took a long time until the DIR responded after choosing the ...factory-to-ddwrt..bin and started to count %. Upgrading from factory.bin to DIR825-firmware.bin worked via FireFox (my std-browser). Anyway everything is fine again.
THX and have a nice weekend.

Hello all,
I thought I would chime in. I am currently running the latest on my 825 B1. It seems to work fine. I only use it as a WDS station (no VAP needed). The VAP issue is fixed now though.

Upgrade to the latest via the link in my signature. Make sure to reset to defaults if you are coming from a building older then ~6 months. Do NOT restore from a backup file from one version to another.

Excuse for the late.

I've some kernel errors, with the DDWRT v.3 r-42914

Code:

Apr 27 20:01:23 DD-WRT-ROUTER kern.warn kernel: [536481.320000] ACCEPT IN=br0 OUT= MAC=b8:aXXXXX:00 SRC=192.168.0.46 DST=192.168.0.1 LEN=52 TOS=0x00 PREC=0x00 TTL=128 ID=63771 DF PROTO=TCP SPT=55659 DPT=80 SEQ=1308158395 ACK=0 WINDOW=64240 RES=0x0

Apr 27 20:01:23 DD-WRT-ROUTER kern.warn kernel: [536481.400000] ACCEPT IN=br0 OUT= MAC=XXXXXXXXXx:9c:23:6b:XX SRC=192.168.0.46 DST=192.168.0.1 LEN=52 TOS=0x00 PREC=0x00 TTL=128 ID=63782 DF PROTO=TCP SPT=55661 DPT=80 SEQ=245762024 ACK=0 WINDOW=64240 RES=0x00

..i've edited the MAC adderesses, so don't worry about...

Do You think Upgrading to the lastest, i should reset the router?
Have you Enabled the SySLog ?

First off those are warnings and not errors. Secondly they are from the firewall logging. I do not see anything wrong with them, it just looks like it is the firewall saying that it is accepting a connection on port 80 http.

Syslog last I knew was not working well. As for resetting the router after upgrading to the latest, I am going to stay away from that, because there are many arguments over doing that or not.
