Did you have unchecked option "Use DNSMasq for DNS" on Setup/basic setup tab?
if yes, from build r42803 VPN don't working (problem with DNS)

How about logs? I have thousands messages like:

    Apr 8 22:43:33 Linksys-EA6900 daemon.info dnsmasq-dhcp[1300]: DHCPREQUEST(br0) 192.168.1.108 30:9c:23:d2:??Confused?

etc like other 25 units on list...

now, change ip in "Static Leases" works immediately w/o reconnect restart like before

I already told you how to fix this. Are you using unbound instead of dnsmasq or not?

Works on Linksys e2500 version 3 after initial flash fractal's k2.6 patch.

Build: DD-WRT v3.0-r42847 mega (04/06/20)

I'm a novice for reports at the moment

Issues: If you keep web gui open for a long time it can reboot the wifi module (not the whole router) and the web gui becomes inaccessible unless power is unplugged for 30 seconds (unplugging less than 30 seconds sometimes doesn't work).

The web gui can also crash if you do a lot of testing by changing settings too often and applying them.

Clearing NVRAM (30-30-30 reset) and factory defaults (web gui) doesn't revert CPU clock speed back to default.

Web Gui often does not load or render properly on "elegant" style, even when load is near zero.

vlans crash or reboot separately from the main WLAN, but only when connected to it. Happens more often in WAP mode.

Also, I noticed it hardly ever logs me out of the web gui unless I log in with a different device. Rebooting the router while logged in with the same IP, will not log me out at all unless I clear my browser cache (not sure if this is normal as I'm still new to dd-wrt).

What browser are you using? Firefox ESR, Pale Moon, Opera, and IE seem to work best. Any Chromium-based browser, including the "new" Microsoft Edge don't always work well.

Firefox Quantum or Firefox ESR? There _is_ a difference. I also forgot about Safari again for those Mac snobs.

Neither, just regular FireFox? But you are right about it being a browser issue. When the web gui crashes, it will work if I open the url linked in said tab/button in another tab. As for the main login page, I have to manually stop page loading and reload to connect.

https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/all/#product-desktop-esr

or

https://portableapps.com/news/2018-07-10--firefox-portable-legacy-52.9.0-released

Both of those will work better than Quantum version (mainline), as will Pale Moon, Opera, good ol' Internet Explorer, or Safari.

Router/Version: Linksys EA8500
Mode: AP
Status: Flawless upgrade, working fine
Errors:
File:
Previous: EA8500-factory-to-ddwrt.img 3/31/17
Kernel:
Reset: Yes

First build after converting from Linksys firmware.
I wish I knew I needed a Serial cable before I bought the unit in order to ditch the Linksys firmware.
Great instructions: http://mrjcd.com/EA8500_DD-WRT/#newbuild

Router/Version: Asus RT-N18U
Firmware: DD-WRT v3.0-r42847 std (04/06/20)
Kernel: Linux 4.4.217 #1251 Mon Apr 6 08:37:58 +04 2020 armv7l
Mode: Gateway
Previous: r42460
Reset: No
Status: wan, lan, wifi, static dhcp, samba, usb, vap etc. all ok

However I think there should be less ntp updates in syslog and should be reported only if there is some error.
