SSH update, no issues, clean reboot. All features working. DNS services seem a little faster.

Can you explain your shell commands to update via ssh? Because I get an error every time I tried... thanks Smile

Example for R7800
Code:
wget ftp://ftp.dd-wrt.com/betas/2020/03-25-2020-r42803/netgear-r7800/dd-wrt-webupgrade.bin
write dd-wrt-webupgrade.bin linux
reboot

Alternatively
Code:
wget ftp://ftp.dd-wrt.com/betas/2020/03-25-2020-r42803/netgear-r7800/dd-wrt-webupgrade.bin
write dd-wrt-webupgrade.bin linux && reboot

I personally like to do #1 since I can error check and prevent rebooting into a bootloop. Not that it has happened so far.
Just replace the link and the bin file to your devices needs.

This thread is for feedback on beta build r42803...

What do you think I'm doing then? The issue is right in the first post and all over the last SVN pages (I did provide all logs there), I'm just confirming it's still not fixed in this build. If you're unable to put 2+2 together to figure out what it is about and can't say anything productive, just don't say anything. Who are you anyway to tell me what to write or not on a public forum.

Ok, on what device? Follow the format at the bottom of the OP and maybe we will know what device you have? Hello? Not that difficult.

This build has a "feel" of being faster. DNS responses are quicker and it seems that a cache of some kind is in place. Spending the past two weeks online for 10 hours a day or more gives me the perspective of the speed up since the last version.

since twasn't doing much, and da EA8500 has had many many builds + BS test builds so 'bout time to give her a good cleaning,
I took the spare WNDR3700v4 and installed r42803
done complete reset / reconfig as main router
VLAN on port1 + ath0.1 via br1
both radios good
34 static leases
local DNS
samba share 32GB ext4 flash drive
HFSC FQ_CODEL
http://www.dslreports.com/speedtest/61196364
https://www.nperf.com/r/3246612573103221-qtgIpLgz

tis all good -- imma still proud of this old single 560MHz CPU netfear box Laughing

I personally like to do #1 since I can error check and prevent rebooting into a bootloop. Not that it has happened so far.
Just replace the link and the bin file to your devices needs.

Great, thanks a lot, I'll try next build. Anyway this build r42803 works fine on my R7800
