I've tried forgetting network. But the 2.4Ghz is not connectable until a reboot.
It does not appear to be an interference, more instability.
2.4ghz with auto-channel or with manual channel?
1. set a fixed channel that works
and see if the "stability problems" are gone
if auto-channel chooses a different channel after each reboot, maybe there are channels that didn't work for you..
I agree, if you are using Auto channel the router may be doing a hunt and peck for IP's every time it decides tht a specific channel is weak. Setting it fixed to one would avoid this. Also I have 99 predefined Ip's on my master and many of my devices are also fixed, but even those that are not it appears much faster reconnects when it happens. As a point of interest, I discovered a long time ago that anytime I was changing a wireless setting, I had to reboot to ensure proper operation. Without doing so the router seemed to remember the original setting and also tried to run the changed setting. There are lots of simple thigs that can go awry with using DD-WRT but the benefits far outway the pitfalls, of which most are clearly documented.
If you are still encountering problems I would suggest activating syslog which would help in isolating your instability. _________________ Starlink & DSL -> TPLink TL-R470T+

Today I can't connect to 2.4Ghz again.
also my Netgear wall socket wireless extender is unable to make connection to 2.4Ghz
5Ghz appears to be working fine.
The 2.4Ghz SSID is showing up but connecting isn't allowed as specified.
Also this is parts of the sys-log...
I can only see entries from a few hours ago.
There is allot of repeated info so I've included what is different. Also it seems that the log file entries have been reset and new ones are being shown.

I don't have a lot time right now but at a quick glance I can only see minir differences with your config compared to my system on my 1900.
Network Mode Mixed - I have older 2.4 so I do require G support
TurboQAM Disabled
Channel 11
Short Preamble Disabled
Otherwise identical configuration. These settings I have been using for more than 2 years with many different builds. r42410 is current build and the most stable build I have seen for the 1900 so far. _________________ Starlink & DSL -> TPLink TL-R470T+

Netgear N300 Model: EX2700
Firmware: V1.0.1.52
So, it's the latest firmware version . I have a WN1000RP that has the same issue, no matter what AP it is configured to connect to. It will randomly disconnect for no apparent reason. I haven't looked at the GPL to see if I can find the issue.
The wifi extender only disconnects from the 2.4ghz radio of the 1900 at the same time nothing else can connect to 2.4ghz of the 1900.

I have auto IP assign service enabled.
Most (not all) clients have an IP assigned via its mac address.
To change this would be a royal pain.
However is there any know issues having a setup like this ?
Thanks
Don't quite follow abut where you have static addresses located. If you are using the Router services page it is actually quite easy to maintain. I have my first 100 IP's allocated to all my in house devices, sequentially arranged and currently using about 60%. I can re-organize and update the list offline with notepad and reload as required. If you are interested in the process PM me and I will dig up the info as I haven't had to change the list very much in the past while. Most changes I have needed were simple adds or deletes to only a couple of IP's. My master list I keep updated by simply backing up the router file and copy/paste the ip assignments from the backup to my text file so if I ever do need to rebuild completely it is a relatively simple process. _________________ Starlink & DSL -> TPLink TL-R470T+
