Hi all...just a quick announcement.
We've had a lot of bricks in the RaLink forum lately from TEST firmware released after 31571.
Please use at your own risk. If you do NOT know how to debrick your router, please do not update your FW past 31571.
You have been warned.
If you have a bricked router...please include make/model in this thread.
UPDATE: There has been a report that build 32170 may be working now on at least one unit. Still....use caution and report if previous bricks are now working with newer firmware.

32170 Unbricked my DIR-810L A1
Good to know...I have no way to check the WHR-300HP2 units...both of mine are bricked and I haven't been able to unbrick them yet....I can't figure out how to flash firmware via Uboot.

If anyone is interested, every version of the DD-WRT I have ever tried on my Belkin F5D8235-4 v2 router has worked fine. No bricking, no speed problems, no major problems of any kind.
Here is the current version I am running...
Router Model: Belkin F5D8235-4 v2
Firmware Version: DD-WRT v3.0-r35244 std (03/05/18)
Kernel Version: Linux 3.2.100 #1322 Mon Mar 5 13:28:17 CET 2018 mips

I love this device, but I decided to somehow put open-wrt and eventually forcibly erased the entire bootloader now it does not show any signs of life. 1) Where to get the loader to flash through telnet 2) how to sew the loader if there is no jtag? P. s sorry for my English

getting the bootloader is not a big issue. but recovering with no jtag is a issue. you need to desolder the flash chip and you need to program the bootloader using a flash programmer. really not worth for that old device _________________ "So you tried to use the computer and it started smoking?
