r7800 latency is on par with kong builds, but the cpu usage for sirq on wifi interfaces is still broken and over 3x higher than kong builds and BS k3.18 builds..
kong r40720m firewall/qos/nat disabled, 5ghz sirq cpu load @ 320mbps:
core0: 15%
core1: 3%
ANY k4.x bs build firewall/qos/nat disabled, 5ghz sirq cpu load @ 320mbps:
core0: 60%
core1: 40%
if the r7800 was doing nat+qos, it still would be choking at these speeds from not enough cpu free.. keep the latency the same and fix the cpu usage, this will be finally 100% fixed for the first time..
STILL FORCED DISABLED HOSTAPD SYSLOG EVEN ON ROUTERS WITH BIG FLASH _________________ LATEST FIRMWARE(S)

Netgear X10 r9000 Issues:
1. r41986 SAMBA is NOT working. The usual fixes (such as selecting save/apply in the Services>NAS tab) failed to work.
2. I was unable to access the internet (forgot to check if it was a DNS issue before going back to older firmware) but could access the router via direct IP address.
Reverted back to r41892 which is the latest that works well for me on the r9000 (r41954 failed to load/install on the router).

I do not see this issue. I'm having no issues with internet access or DNS services. _________________ Netgear R9000

MDLandl, are you using DNSCrypt? I have enabled: DNSMasq, Encrypt END, DNCrypt Resolver, Cache DNSSEC data, Validate DNS Replies (DNSSEC), Check unsigned DSN replies, Local DNS, and RFC4039 Rapid Commit support.

I am not. I have: Dnsmasq, Local DNS, No DNS Rebind, Query DNS in Strict Order and I use these options:
domain=local
local=/local/
expand-hosts
listen-address=127.0.0.1,192.168.16.128 _________________ Netgear R9000

MLandi, I am not 100%, but I suspect that's where the issues is...at least, that's where it's been in the past (so it's a good place for BS to start anyway). If I had more time I would have been able to look into it further but it brought down a client VPN so....
The services/vpn/Start OpenVPN Client - save pass, faults have not yet been corrected. Special characters do not work when try to save the password. The second thing is Wireless Security only works WPA2 Personal CCMP-128 (AES) when trying to choose another or any security like WPA3 no possibility to connect to the router
