Thanks egc.

Setting to MPV to NT1 did the trick.

Thanks!

Router/Version: ASUS TM-AC1900 (modded to AC68u)
Firmware: DD-WRT v3.0-r41892 std (01/05/20)
Kernel: Linux 4.4.208-rc1 #620 SMP Sat Jan 4 12:00:01 +04 2020 armv7l
Previous: r41874
Mode/Status: AP and Client Bridges (2)
Reset: yes
Issues/Errors: Working well so far.
Uptime: 12 hours.

All good so far. Will report back, but this version seems pretty stable. QOS works for WAN on both up/down (I have one of these routers as an AP as well on DD, same version)

Anyone tried the startup commands with bridged VAPs on R6700v3?

Unable to join VAP after setting up the VAP and startup commands (followed by a reboot).

Once startservice wlconf is executed, the following messages are shown:

eth2: Not supported
eth2: Not supported
bridge : interface wl1.1 successfully added to bridge br0

Netgear WNDR4000. I find sometimes that I need to manually 're-apply' the wireless settings about a minute after boot and it will enable VAP connections.

Router/Version: Buffalo WZR-1750DHP
Firmware: ftp://ftp.dd-wrt.com/betas/2020/01-05-2020-r41892/buffalo_wzr-1750dhp/buffalo-wzr-1750dhp-webflash.bin
Mode: AP/USB
Kernel: Not sure...?
Previous: r41771 (12-21-2019)
Reset?: N
Status: Not Working

Tried several releases prior to this - seems like they all have some issues and forced me to roll all the way back to 12-21-2019 (seemingly the last problem-free release).

The 01-05-2020 release seemed to have:

- broken DHCPd: I can't get a DHCP lease at all off my 2013 macBook Pro, but hardcoding static IP on the Wifi worked just fine.

- 5GHz radio dropped connectivity a few times on 2 separate 802.11ac VHT80PS clients (both Apple products), forcing reassociation/DHCP renewal and resulting in a very unstable connection.

- broken OpenVPNd: with a known working configuration, inbound OpenVPN connection via Tunnelblick stalled waiting for server to respond.

I have similar issues on Netgear r6300v2. For me the last working build is 12-10-2019-r41686
