I need to find some solution for this but so far no solution has been found Some people have said that this could be because the ISP modem does not recognize the router's MAC address after rebooting.
I do not think that I'm the only one who has this same problem and I wonder why anyone would not be invented for this solution. I know there are many very skilled and very knowledgeable people in this forum
I have not yet tried to clone a MAC address. Should I use the MAC address at the bottom of the router case? Or what is the correct MAC address to use here?
The WAN Mac address is otherwise correct but the last letter is incorrect on the WAN MAC address. So I'll correct the last letter of the WAN MAC address.
I don't need to touch the Wirelless MAC address, at least not in my opinion.
Apparently, I'm just a poor unfortunate, and even this way did not work for me ..... Why is the other of these ways of working but not for me Well at least I tried not fix this problem then because there were no solutions ...
The there the same problem was in 40009 and earlier versions as well. I also had the same problem with the Linksys wrt1900acs v2 and WRT3200ACM routers. But now I have a Netgear R7800 router which I now use every day. I have not used this version r40270M I now have the latest DD-WRT STD version with building number r41791
I'm sure that one of the script that the problem could be resolved. But I can't code at least yet, so I can't develop it right now.
But the script should be the one that fetches the correct WAN IP address from my ISP modem to my Netgear R7800 DD-WRT router.

Did you ever try using vlan2, not eth0? I honestly don't see the need for the script. I have had no issues getting a WAN IP on any device my hands have been on. _________________ "Life is but a fleeting moment, a vapor that vanishes quickly; All is vanity"

I uninstalled the Script and tried cloning the MAC Address while the Script was off and configured. But cloning the MAC address didn't help.
I used the MAC address at the bottom of the router as the WAN MAC address. All I had to do was change the last letter of it because it was otherwise correct.

And when you did that, what port was assigned to WAN in the networking tab? I would probably reset and start over from scratch. I have never had issues with default settings on any device I have flashed outside of known devices' issues, and the R7800 doesn't normally have issues. Are you sure your ethernet cable is good? _________________ "Life is but a fleeting moment, a vapor that vanishes quickly; All is vanity"
