So I am new to this whole thing, but basically, I've gone and found information about my router to try and put a VPN on it. According to the manufacturer, VPN support is possible (although I have no idea how), but I want to put dd-wrt on it. The link https://apps.fcc.gov/eas/GetApplicationAttachment.html?id=3152899 contains pictures of the Device on the inside from the FCC ID. The pictures are unclear as to what the Chipset model is, but it seems quite clear it is in fact Broadcom. The FCC ID is: L9VNL3240U, the product on the FCC ID page is https://apps.fcc.gov/oetcf/eas/reports/ViewExhibitReport.cfm?mode=Exhibits&RequestTimeout=500&calledFromFrame=N&application_id=LUc%2B3ZIep4pu5n0goBBrIg%3D%3D&fcc_id=L9VNL3240U Thanks for the help in advance, and let me know if I'm missing some information!!

Modem / router combos are not and will not be supported.

It isn't a modem perse (modem interface is depopulated), but it uses a DSL chipset (BCM63138). Based on what it's selling for, I'd suggest you sell it and get a supported Qualcomm device (eg R7800). Smile

I stand semi-corrected. Oh, sh*t, did I just admit being wrong? Shocked Ok, let me rephrase. Neither that chipset nor that SoC is supported by this firmware (because it is part of a DSL modem family of SoCs). Cool Wink Rolling Eyes Razz
