Well sh*t, don't know why the K24 builds are having issues. I don't have a spare to try K26 builds. Just when you think something might get fixed for good. _________________ "Life is but a fleeting moment, a vapor that vanishes quickly; All is vanity"

They may be but I really don't know yet.
I was actually surprised the k3.x worked that well after installing over that old of build... the oldass k3.x had 256k nvram also
Got other stuff to do but I'll look more at the k2.4 afterlater sometime
Firmware completely broken. Does not boot. I think it's time I stick with r41586 for a few months and not look at the ftp page. r41586 seems to be working good anyway.
Did you do a reset to rule out the chance of an old configuration workaround causing issue?
Hmm I'll have to test on one of my AC68U's... Mine is still on r41379, and has been stable for weeks! I'll post back on my findings. _________________ ASUS RT-AC3100 AP Merlin 386.12_4

Well, I don't think you'd need to do a reset, but you might have to for giggles on the K24 builds and if'n you test the K26 builds. The main fix in this one which was incomplete in the last one was the GTK renewal / re-join authentication issues that have been lingering since sometime after the KRACK fixes and before or during or after 35531.
SO FAR, no issues here. Still waiting out the GTK interval usual 3-4 days before all hell breaks loose. I just hope we don't have to start back at square one with "the other idea" if it broke something else in K24/K26.... because this ntpclient spam needs to go next lol _________________ "Life is but a fleeting moment, a vapor that vanishes quickly; All is vanity"

Could now access its webif.
I then install r35531 mini [03/26/18] back on it using the webif.
I'll do the same with other two 54G in day or so -- they a little harder to get at

I can confirm that flashing this build on an Asus RT-AC68U causes a boot-loop. The router never initializes the radios, so I assume it's something to do with that. After failed upgrade, I erased the NVRAM with no success, made no difference. I am back on build r41379 with a restored backup of NVRAM. Working just fine. _________________ ASUS RT-AC3100 AP Merlin 386.12_4

And yet another RT-AC68U bootloop confirmation from me.
The radio's do seem to be initialised shortly, but die soon and it's impossible to associate from laptop.
