I realize this isn’t a DDWRT specific question, but I’m not sure what other group of people to ask. I would have swore that years ago I ran Shibby’s Tomato on this WNDR4000. But I can’t say that for sure and don’t feel like breaking it based on a fuzzy memory. Isn’t the WNDR4000 and the Linksys E4200 the same router except the WNDR4000 only has 8MB of flash rom?
I see one file on the Shibby website (http://tomato.groov.pl/download/K26RT-N/build5x-120-EN/Linksys%20E-series/) that looks to be small enough to possibly be flashed. But still, I’d like to know for sure before I attempted it. The main reason I’m looking to get Shelby installed is because traffic shaping always worked well for me on that firmware. I’ve never had any luck with the QOS on DDWRT.

No worries. I do believe hardware-wise, though, that your router and the E4200v1 are identical, or close enough. I don't know if I would advise flashing the E4200 build, though, and I don't know if a generic .trx file will flash on Netgear. _________________ "Life is but a fleeting moment, a vapor that vanishes quickly; All is vanity"

First time I starting using DD in mid-2016 was from a failed Tomato flash...at the time at least it was listed as untested, and there were no reports of use on the linksysinfo forums either. _________________ #NAT/SFE/CTF: limited speed w/ DD#Repeater issues#DD-WRT info: FAQ, Builds, Types, Modes, Changes, Demo#

I would have to back-track some file history in git to see what the pertinent details are to even try doing a test build on FT, since it is a Shibby fork. Netgear devices are special. _________________ "Life is but a fleeting moment, a vapor that vanishes quickly; All is vanity"
