I'm totally happy with this unit, except I just upgraded my ISP speed to 400Mbps and through this router using DD-WRT i'm getting about half speed. It will peak close to 300 but then drop down to about 200 or a little less.
Direct connections to the modem using same PC hardware are 495Mbps. The interwebs tells me that the unit should be able to throughput of about 335Mbps WAN-LAN.
Currently using DD-WRT v3.0-r39508 std (04/14/19) but will try some updates.
Is this what I'm stuck with unless I update to newer hardware?

assuming qos is off (or if its on, will only work on upload after this), enable shortcut forwarding engine on main setup page. and have latest build running. and the wifi radios in this router are incapable of getting ur line speed under the best conditions, 2x2 40mhz 802.11n just cant attain that _________________ LATEST FIRMWARE(S)
