LinkSys E2500 HWv3
Firmware: DD-WRT v24-sp2 (02/12/14) mini

So I've got the encryption set to WPA2 Personal AES in the GUI, but on the status page it says "disabled" and wireless devices are showing that it has no security.

I bought two LinkSys E2500 HWv3 and set them up the exact same way, and security is working on one but not the other. The only difference in configuration is IP, hostname, and WiFi channel.

This is mind boggling.

You may wish to update to a more recent build, and perhaps a K3.x build.

https://wiki.dd-wrt.com/wiki/index.php/Linksys_E2500

^ files will be in the broadcom k26 or k3x folders. I am still running the latest stock firmware on one of my v3s. None of them are running DD-WRT.

Ahh you're the best!

This seems to have done the trick. I'm going to let it run for 24 hours, and if it's good and stable, then tomorrow I'll apply it to the other router as well.

Thanks a million!!

Glad it worked out. I just wish the 5GHz radio worked in DD-WRT on the E2500. Only custom firmware I know of that it works in is FreshTomato.
