Upgraded WRT1200AC v1 from r41328 to r41375 using Waterfox 56.2.14 (64 bit) running on Linux Mint 19.1 OS.
Successful update and reboot. No reset, nothing disabled prior to update, uptime about 2+ hrs, wired/wireless connected, vpn up immediately. No drops wired/wireless or vpn. I do NOT use QoS or NAS. Seems a bit faster.

I turned off QoS which was using fq_codel and successfully Webflashed from build r40009 on partition 2 to partition 1 without a reset. I used Firefox portable, v.69
I then turned on my openvpn client and it only required one click of save then Apply to activate. In every build since r40009 I had to click apply twice so that's a definite improvement.
I turned QoS back on using Cake this time and again tested the vpn client. It worked properly each time tho the Gui appears kind of sluggish as if it's taking more time to refresh itself before letting me click on certain items. I wonder if this is because of extra code to make sure the router is refreshing properly?
Everything else appears to be working. My other issue since r40009 was major in that I lost access to the web GUI over a period of time. I will be watching for that.

OpenVPN CLIENT works fine (nordvpn server)
5GHz wpa2 CCMP-128 (AES)working fine 20MHz Mixed
2.4GHz wpa2 CCMP-128 (AES)working fine 20MHz Mixed
NAS via USB Samba also working fine
Everything working so far. VPN automatically connected.
One weird thing is in OpenVPN Client config below nsCertType verification, there's a section called "undefined" with two options "undefined" and "undefined"
Edit: I performed this upgrade from r41218 with no reset, all settings transferred _________________ Linksys WRT3200ACM r41586

I looked at previous image files I saved with my openvpn client settings and the "nsCerType verification" was there in earlier builds. I think it's been changed to "verify server cert".
You might be getting some leftovers from previous settings.

Supposedly (I haven't tried recent builds) there's now a choice on the OpenVPN client page between tls-auth and tls-crypt. Wonder whether that's it?

Per the OpenVPN manual, nsCertType verification is obsolete and will be deprecated in OpenVPN 2.5. The newer way is remote-cert-tls server in the config. Apparently the GUI language has been appropriately updated. _________________ 2x Netgear XR500 and 3x Linksys WRT1900ACSv2 on 53544: VLANs, VAPs, NAS, station mode, OpenVPN client (AirVPN), wireguard server (AirVPN port forward) and clients (AzireVPN, AirVPN, private), 3 DNSCrypt providers via VPN.

Looking at my image file from r40009, the only part that changed was in the pictures above. That's assuming I don't have any random leftovers. I didn't reset either.
