Is this next possible by any means?

Is there any way to get DD-wrt firmware configured so that even if my VPN connection is lost, my internet connection would not be lost at all, but the connection would still work without interruption?

I also want the VPN connection to be restored automatically when it works again.

Last Sunday I lost a game at Live For Speed when my VPN connection was lost.

My router is Linksys wrt 1900acs v2.

Thanks for helping someone who comes up with a way for me! Smile

The loss switch was off the Firewall command and yet my connection was lost and I lost the race win due to this.

There is also a dependency on the online game whether it can handle a sudden IP change without a complete re-login.

I doubt that this is the case, so there is nothing to blame the router for.
