I added a passive 40x40x10mm aluminum heat sink to the hottest area on the board. I don't have pictures yet but I found this image.

You can see the cpu on the right hand side of the image without its cover. I did not remove this but added the heat sink on to the cover with superglue as I do not have any thermal epoxy or adhesive strips. The heat sink lowered my temps displayed in the gui by 10 degrees C. I will order a small blower style fan and add that to see what improvements I get with active air flow. Next time I open up the router I'll get an image of placement before I fit in the blower.
