Rf Probe
a digital volt meter with 2 Diodes is a SIMPLE Rf detector.
and if you have alot of power you can just use a simple Meter.
but for LOW power like WiFi you will need a Multimeter.
A High Gain VTVM would be better than a digital multimeter But use what ya got ............
Like this simple and easy quick and CHEEP!!!
This is what you will need.
you will be able to detect Rf power off cordless phones - Small Fm Transmitters - WiFi - and Alot more
if it dont work for you sometimes you Need to make contact with the probe to the device if the power is VERRY low you can even use a longer wire on the detector but if you get it to long you will get noise like Truckers on the CB local Radio stations and other things.
you can even put the detector on a earphone and you will hear all the signals that you can detect like local radio stations - police if close .....
well you get the picture so Have fun.
The pictures are NOT The best but here you go.
Hope the can help somebody.
Enjoy.
