I just bought an Asus RT-AC3100 and noticed that there are experimental drivers for some devices. Can anyone shed a light on the difference between the regular and the experimental driver?
Also, what's up with the preemptive kernel? I remember this had to do with CPU's task-switching mechanism back in the Intel x86 arch days.
Then I asked BS, who said, "it has a mac8011 based driver and works only on dhd based chipsets. thats all. it has no nas daemon problems. doesnt deal with the broadcom driver".

I remember when billcat's wak was run on the original suitcase. That would be a 4 pc tower cluster with 486s and a 2.0 kernel. Back in the really slippery days of SMP code. /random
