Flashed with FF68.0.1x64. No issues. I had OpenVPN connected when I upgraded, after the reboot the settings were still on for VPN but the VPN was not connected. I rebooted again and the VPN connected but there was no DNS service. Reverted to 40134.
When I had the 7/29 version running, and DNS seemed to not work, I did a tracert:

I'm using PIA so I can't say for sure with ExpresVPN
but I had to reboot my router and rooftop modem (WISP) shortly after doing this upgrade I lost the DNS. I rebooted everything then disabled VPN saved/Then reenabled VPN and saved...And everything came back up and has been working since. That worked for me but we're using different VPN/Equipment...Worth a try if you haven't already done so...

I am not going to try upgrading to anything higher than 40134 (37.5 MB, 39,325,696 bytes) on my wrt1900acv2. I'm concerned about bricking my unit with these bigger builds. Hard lesson learned in the past _________________ Linksys WRT1900ACv2 - My new go to build: DD-WRT v3.0-r44048 std (08/02/20) - STABLE
My WRT1900ACv2 has now been serving me for more than 5years Most reliable router I have ever owned!
It's not like we're making any money doing it...
I just started doing it because I keep weird hours since retiring (I sleep late and stay up late). I started noticing new releases when everybody in Euro-Land was at work and everybody on the East coast was waking up...I was still awake here on Pacific time so I would post new releases...But anybody can do it that feels they want to ... We're a Meritocracy or something like that...

I was only giving a friendly nudge
FWIW, Broadcom is the oldest platform supported. Adding support for all these other manufacturers makes things challenging lol
