Hey... thanks for the response and info. I managed to follow your response and was able to flash back to the original firmware. 'Middle Firmware' did the trick.

Hoping to sit on the sidelines and see some more progress with DD-WRT as it has great potential on this router.

I got this router for about $55 from Amazon Warehouse so I thought it was the steal of the decade. I still think it will be eventually.

Hello,

I recently updated my Dlink DIR-882 2600 to the latest Broly/Crispin Build DD-WRT v4.14-r40452M CRISPIN (07/28/19) - Anyone else having problems with it? Also, I cannot edit the 2.4Ghz advanced settings, I've had this problem since 3-27-2019-r39296

Broly's 40555 build is still the same; 2.4Ghz advanced settings all messed up along with httpd crashing every time changes are applied.
Only the older kernel versions are usable for this router.

Is the latest DDWRT AUG 6 update fixed?

I am using the old ddwrt from aug 2018 on this router and whenever the thruput on it increases it reboots.
I was hoping this update fixes this

As of March 2019 releases,
I still encountered unscheduled reboots; frequently when router was under heavy load.

No problem,

Literally I am not sure if they posted the wrong firmware.
The router keeps rebooting.
LED on the top dont work
Wifi sticks to dd-wrt open
wifi keeps disconnecting
and it erases all the settings.

I noticed this these problematic updates are 15mb while more stable ones are 14mb.
I resorted back to the 10-10-2018 update.

So, are most people using the 39296 (March 27, 2019) build? Any downsides to this? I have the DIR-882, so I'd love for the NAS and network printing features to work. The August builds I first tried were awful. I couldn't even get wireless security working right for the brief moments I could connect.

Also, when was the 4.14 kernel first used?

After headaches of unstable 5Ghz Wireless Performance, i have reverted to older build r39296

Now with the old Kernel 3.10 it's working muuuuuch better

Same to me. httpd, telnet and ssh are crashing nearly after every apply with Broly's build. So the router become inaccessible. The only way to keep it alive is to leave open one session of telnet or ssh and restart httpd every time it crashes Rolling Eyes
