I am pretty much getting the same responses on every means I have to do a lookup with no luck. Not sure what your old router has different, but I get nothing, not even using my ISP dns servers.
i just went back to stock netgear firmware, couldn't use IRC of login to steam, tried all the 2019 firmwares, still the same issue, thanks for helping though.

Does stock Netgear firmware block IDENT by default? I even checked an external query site just now, and there are no authoritative answers to link those to an IP address whatsoever. I wonder if this has to do with the MULTICAST issue (?). You may want to check and see if FreshTomato supports your router (Freshtomato-ARM, perhaps?), since Broadcom builds seem to be hit and miss. You may also want to test the latest public beta (40352) of DD-WRT to see if you get any luck there. It could be some funky config problem, too...
On another note, though: Steam seems pretty cool, but I'm sad that GameSpy is no longer. Nothing that exists these days (Xbox live/360, PlayStation Network, Steam, etc.) would be on the map had it not been for Mark and all the guys in Costa Mesa, CA. He and his team still get paid very well for the sale of that IP. /off-topic
No stock Firmware doesn't block IDENT, I honestly don't know why I have this problem with DD-Wrt, the first time I flashed it was working flawlessly, then updated to the newest build, it started not letting me login into steam or use IRC.
Then it would block my IP address from logging in to the WebUI, had to check the log through SSH.
Then it would freeze after making any changes.
tried resolving the issue via Erase NVRAM via ssh, to no avail.
So I guess I will stick with stock firmware
p.s. steam is nice they give out free games once in a while
So this must be a different revision of the R6700v3, because I don't have removable antennas... Just don't get how it worked for a whole month and stopped working properly..

The one from the TEST folder? That is weird. What are you enabling / disabling? A while back I made the mistake of enabling https for webUI and disabling http and wound up having to reset. I have never had issues with ssh being blocked, is this over wired or wireless?
I'm not enabling or disabling anything, after a successful flash, and I set my password, your IP will get blocked, the only way I found out was to enable logging and telnet in.
