Hello! My provider provides connection only through dynamic dhcp. But it doesn't work on dd-wrt - it constantly issues ip 0.0.0.0. Please help me make it work or tell me how I can upgrade the router back to the stock firmware via telnet. Thanks!

First compare your WAN MAC address sticker on the router and in web interface _________________ [Ramips] Nexx WT3020F Openwrt @kernel #4.14.167 (OpenVPN server, Wireguard server, AD blocking, SQM QOS, USB)

I changed (cloned) wan mac to another - it is necessary for authorization and my provider. MAC which is written back front the router is in my Local Network settings
Router Name DD-WRT
Router Model Asus RT-AC88U
LAN MAC F8:32:E4:xx:xx:xx - my router mac
WAN MAC 04:xx:xx:xx:xx:xx - mac for provider
Wireless MAC F8:32:E4:xx:xx:xx
WAN IPv4 0.0.0.0
LAN IP 192.168.1.1

Tell me, please, how can I return to the stock firmware without using a cable connection and the Asus Firmware Restoration Utility (I do not have a network card in the laptop).

Well, that sure helps me help you a lot Specific build number information might help. Did your provider provide you with any information to add to the main "Setup" tab page or the DHCP Client section at the top of the "Services" page? If you aren't testing the current beta release (40352), then I honestly don't know where to begin to look for help to help you. The only other thing I can suggest is that MAC cloning may be broken somehow and see if your ISP will change the allocated MAC address to the DD-WRT MAC address of your router. You could also try restoration / recovery mode and upload the latest Merlin or FreshTomato firmware that supports your router, since obviously this has got to be a DD-WRT specific issue. It is generally not advised to use wireless connection for flashing or recovering a device, though.

I will try to ask the provider to change my MAC to the one that stands on my router, thanks) For some reason, this idea did not even occur to me. Regarding the flashing to tomato or merlin - I tried to flip to merlin, but after flashing - although everything goes well - but the firmware does not change - it still remains dd-wrt
Router NameDD-WRT
Router ModelAsus RT-AC88U
LAN MAC F8:32:xx:xx:xx:xx
WAN MAC 00:00:00:00:00:01
Wireless MAC F8:32:xx:xx:xx:xx
WAN IPv40.0.0.0
LAN IP192.168.1.1
But WAN MAC router should be F8:32 instead of 00:00:00:00:01
wireless mac same lan mac
I have to reassign the port somewhere as far as I understand it. Only where could it be?
I used to use dd-wrt on tp-link and had no problems, I did not even suspect that I would encounter problems on asus. I have to reprogram nvram as far as I understand, but I do not have enough experience, I would just like to return to the standard firmware. Can I somehow do this without using the Asus Firmware Restoration Utility and connecting via cable? There is no network card on my laptop.
You should be able to access the mini CFE webserver with your browser @ 192.168.1.1, BUT I am not sure if it is required to use a wired ethernet connection. You can always try, but I doubt it will work.
