There is no such thing as a non-beta dd-wrt release. ddwrt is in perpetual beta mode. Basically a way of disclaiming any liabilities of you putting ddwrt on a production mission critical network without fully vetting the build yourself.

I have been running the 7/12/19 build without issue until today. I had the need to turn off OpenVPN. When I did, the stopped DNS services. Rebooted the router and found that OpenVPN was still on. Turning it off worked and the router worked properly. Turning it on caused me to lose DNS services. Cold booted the router, no change. OpenVPN enabled gives no DNS. The odd thing is I was running with OpenVPN enabled until today.
Downgrading to the 6/27/19 build solved my issues. I think I will stay here until the next release. _________________ Netgear R7000P

AP, DNSMasq, Local DNS
ExpressVPN OpenVPN Client

Static Leases & DHCP

5GHz 161 + 155 (VHT80 80MHz)
I see speed, and web interface is still not top priority yet. Only enabling options are. These Linksys routers could be great especially the wrt3200acm its almost unbreakable. Speeds, and the web interface is in high need of some much needed attention at some point.
