Does anyone know when the TP-Link Archer C3150 is going to be supported?

I checked the supported device list last month and today, however it still states work in progress (WIP).

Probably never. I'm the one who supplied brainslayer the dumps on it that he requested. That was in February. Since then I haven't heard back from him, so I sold the router.

do you really need AC3150? it all depends on the user requirement.

I bought the AC3150 because of the range of wi-fi signal, due to it being a 4x4 router, and with the hope that dd-wrt would be available for it. Its the only router thats able to send out a strong enough signal that reaches my driveway and backyard without needing me to boost the TX power. However, I think I might have to purchase a netgear R7800.

Any update on this. If it is no longer worked upon please remove the WIP in the list of supported devices Smile

There is now a v1 and v2, looks like. Probably would need to donate one of each to get proper support.

EDIT: The key difference is the v2 has 32MB flash, the v1 128MB.

The last time I spoke with BS about the v1 was October10 2018. I had sent him all the dumps he requested.
He told me he received a V1 the day before, October 9.
I will paste his answer to me.
“thats because the firmware supports it already, the problem is the firmware firmat to flash the device. this is nasty this time unlike all others”

I wouldn’t expect it or the v2 to be supported. I got rid of my unit long ago.
