So I see a huge range of prices on Amazon for routers. There's a TP Link for $17.99! Prices go up to $300 and more. What is the differentiator between all this hardware? What do you get for $300 over cheaper hardware. MIMO?

Thanks

Well let me provide one answer myself.

https://www.technadu.com/best-dd-wrt-routers/8914/

Has a nice description of various DD-WRT routers. Prices are all over the map. But it has the technical details.

*And* it recommends my favorite router, TP-Link Archer C9!

no C9 is the worst choice ...
best support value/performance/support goes to Netgear R7800
, R7000 , R6400...! dont waste your time any money on anything else!

Well tell us how you really feel. Smile

All I can tell you is I've been running three of the C9s for years. They've been rock solid and I have had no complaints.

Plus they are recommended in that article. So There! Wink
